New release for DID after debut album KUMAR SOLARIUM in october 2009. This time it’s a double A side on vinyl 7’’: A side Hello Hello (overwhelming Kumar Solarium ouverture!) AA side Another Pushed remixed by These New Puritans.

As usual for us (but maybe this time more!) we liked go the whole hog: 2 tracks (on a unique transparent vinyl) as usual mastered in New York by Alan Douches (West West Side Music) were slot in a packaging made by Alessandro Saglietti with collaboration of Andrew Davidhazy, a real contemporary photography guru, pioneer during the sixties of Strip Aerial Photography technique.

Combined with 7’’ single will be release Hello Hello Videoclip filmed by Roman rappak, young director, en vogue among english bands. This single is a declaration of internationality coming from the band that decide to bring to lite some of their co-operations with foreigners bands. What catch you is the remixing naturalness (first time ever) of the english band: TNPS work is incredibile in essential features: TNPS playing DID and the other way round!
Styles, behaviours which melt down in searching the edge!

Last Sat we had our headline show in Turin... well, 700 lads came to see us playing and sPAZIO 211 (the most important venue in Turin, one of the most important in Italy) went SOLD OUT... first time ever for a band from Turin.

Clearly the title of this post is a joke.

We are not talking about a proper fan this time (and actually we will never do ahah), just about a some-kind-of.
This sexy man here is Beppe, Andrea P's father, as well as the official chef for the band. This saturday (we play in Turin) we will definitely have dinner at Beppe's with our tour manager Victor Kwality and Foxhound, we will talk about them in another post...
Well, Beppe had this wonderful idea: he took the Rolling Stone copy with our picture on it and put that on a plush.. The unmistakable trash postcard style make us wonder about a possible merch like this. WE LOVE IT, this is pure class man!

After painful decisions, sacrifice, difficulties, pissing off... in the mood: blood, sweat and tears, it's finally out as we used to say "in best records shops" our debut album: Kumar Solarium.
After release party on thursday 8th of october at Fondamenta Jahier (Milan, Italy), we thanks all friends who came, we really liked to have a party with you all!! The album is now on sale in a digipack version with exterior graphics and booklet in red/green colours (just to understand do you remember glasses red/green for 3D movies of the '50?) which is visible with 2 colored plastic sheets inserted in the pack. This is a first limited release.
